We are seeking to recruit a Graduate Software Developer to join our in-house IT team.
Skills + Experience
Ideal candidates will have a recent honours graduate, having (or likely to achieve) a 2:1 degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline. Any relevant experience will be viewed favourably. All candidates should provide an example portfolio of work as this will form part of the interview process. If the chosen candidate is graduating this year, an academic reference will be required and a relevant clause will be inserted into their contract.
In addition to sound technical abilities, the candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Training for the position will be carried out in Stirling, but the candidates can be based anywhere in the central belt.
The Role
We are seeking a Graduate .NET developer to expand our small team. In addition to maintaining and further developing the existing .NET web and desktop applications, the successful candidate will assist members of the team in the creation of mobile and tablet applications. This post presents an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to put their learning into practice, developing in a relaxed environment with limited supervision to develop systems to spec as you see fit.

Role Requirements
Honours degree (2:1 or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent
Familiarity with Visual Studio
Experience with ASP.NET C#/VB, and XHTML/CSS
Microsoft SQL Server (or familiarity with equivalent RDBS)
Additionally, mobile app development (Xamarin or native) and web services experience or knowledge would be beneficial but is not essential.
